Alicia Project
When Alicia Kozakiewicz was 13 she was abducted from her home by a man who had groomed her online. He raped and tortured her, and streamed the abuses on the Internet. This stream led to an anonymous tip being shared with the FBI who rescued Alicia after 4 days of imprisonment and torture. Since the traumatic event, Alicia has dedicated her life to spreading awareness to parents and children about how to prevent what happened to her from happening to anyone else, and trying to pass Alicia's Law--a bill which would require all 50 states to provide funding to the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) task force.
